Military Ceremonies

The USS Missouri Memorial Assoc is dedicated to preserving her legacy as the site of Japan’s unconditional surrender to the Allied Forces on Sept 2nd 1945, ending World War II, and to honor the commitment of all of the men and women past and present who served our great country. One of the ways we are able to do that is through our Military Ceremonies Program.

These ceremonies are offered free of charge to service members. Click here to make a reservation.

Wanted ... crew member stories while serving on BB-63

USS Missouri

The Battleship’s story and her contributions are best told through the former crewmembers, friends, and family members. On occasion we ask individual contributors to submit their story, allowing us to post crew member reflections on our website, share with other donors/members/visitors and or use in public presentations. Anonymity for the storyteller is not honored.
